I grew up in Tomball, Texas, graduated high school in 1984 and went off to Stephen F Austin State University. I was bored with college so in 1987 me and my guitar joined the Marine Corps and started a new adventure. Semper Fi!
There is an old military saying, "hurry up and wait." While I was waiting around I worked on my guitar playing and wrote poems to my girlfriend back home. One day it occurred to me that if I added a chorus to those poems I could be a songwriter!
Over all these years I have been lucky enough to play some of the country's oldest and best known dance halls, open for a few big stars and have gotten to share the stage with some of the best musicians in the business. Now days you can find me on a stage almost every Friday or Saturday night somewhere in America doing my thing! So please stop by often and check the schedule.
I sincerely hope get to meet you somewhere along the way! Until then I appreciate you stopping by and I truly hope you enjoy the music.
Your friend and luckiest guy in the whole wide world!
